Time (The Olive Canvas)

I step inside the canvas
For at the end of day,
I observe the room of clutter
From meadows green and gay! ~

My heart sings with the Buntings
I feel their song of cheer
The Chickadees and Kinglets
Bring the olive forest near, ~

Though once inside the wood I know
‘Tis only for a time,
When I shall turn my thoughts around
To the worlds of rapid time.

Dear Heavenly Father,
Days goes by so swiftly, moments but fleeting time. I pray I will make the most of every precious moment. Thank you for your beautiful creation. It is a balm for a weary mind.

Alone ( Perceptions)

Alone in weeping ore one’s own trials

Who was there to comfort by way of smiles?

Amidst the dark and gloom of defeat

Who was there to guide thy feet?

When it seemed that no one cared

Who was there with love to share?

And when the breaking of heart was too much,

Someone came with that splendid touch!

While life’s road took turns and hills

Who was there with strength to fill?

Could it be at times one’s will to live ~

Struggles and grief was all could give?

Could one’s perception of trials and grief

Be clouded with delusion of desired relief?

When now and then caused one’s own shame

From wrong decisions one is only to blame?

Psalm 103 : 13-14

The Lord is like a father to his children,

tender and compassionate to those who fear him.

For he knows how weak we are;

he remembers we are only dust. (NLT)

Ivories that stretch for miles

In my dreams they bring me smiles,

Ebonies black, black as night

In my dreams take wings of flight.

I feel the pulse as fingertips draw near

To caressing keys that are tuned to ear,

Note upon note and layered in song

I know it’s where my heart belongs!

Reflections of melodies from heart to strings

Burst from my soul as the seven foot rings,

Fingers unite through innocence of white

From dreams to reality pure heavenly delight.
