Although we all live in a time of incredible progress, more and more people find it tremendously difficult to deal with stress, tension, and anxiety. This earthly realm we currently reside in, sadly offers extensive pressures and immense strain.
In order to live confidently in these demanding times, lives in all areas must be committed to Christ our Lord. Only through this avenue of sincere intimate relations with our Saviour, one will achieve ultimate assurance and guidance through these earthly storms.
Our small efforts to be successful will slowly snuff out like an old candle stick fighting to stay lit. Stay focused on Him, feed on HIS word, keep your lantern filled with oil ~ HIS Holy spirit! It is then you can…
Live confidently, write with purpose, and share your offerings of encouragement, so that others may be encouraged to walk in HIS light!
Lend a helping hand of faith and courage. Pray together, trust together, rest together underneath the shelter of HIS unfailing word!

Proverbs 18:10 (NIV)
The name of the Lord is a fortified tower;
the righteous run to it and are safe.
2 Corinthians 4:16-18 (Living Bible)
That is why we never give up. Though our bodies are dying, our inner strength in the Lord is growing every day. These troubles and sufferings of ours are, after all, quite small and won’t last very long. Yet this short time of distress will result in God’s richest blessing upon us forever and ever! So we do not look at what we can see right now, the troubles all around us, but we look forward to the joys in heaven which we have not yet seen. The troubles will soon be over, but the joys to come will last forever.
Friendship, an offering of encouragement, one of God’s many richest blessings ~ benefits of walking with our King!

Many years ago
twas a night without a moon,
the sky was dark and oh so cold
in the trees there was no tune.
For on this night the wind did blow
midst the storm a mighty gale,
arrows of rain had pelted down
that soon turned into hail!
A little robin sought his shelter
upon a maple high,
tossed about from mighty winds
he looked up to the sky.
“Dear Lord” he prayed “please keep me safe
amid the dark, please shine your light”,
twas then he thought he heard a song
deep within the shadows night.
For underneath the spruces bow
a little sparrow had nested,
refuged from the mighty storm
in His masters hand he rested.
On the winds his song it carried
to the maple high,
come my friend and rest with me
in His love we shall abide!
So the robin took his flight
to the spruce below,
together with the sparrow prayed
and sang while billows rolled!
The robin prayed and thanked His Maker
for the answered prayer,
for sending him the little sparrow
for His love and care.
